Vandalism in the 60's:
Gravestones knocked over, painted and broken. Graves opened and caskets removed, bones thrown around cemetery.  Small animals mutilated.  Occult rituals.  Tombstones no longer marking grave.  Trenches and pits dug above graves.

Man in 70's, shotgun, lantern, Doberman, ghost caretaker
Pond:
1970's 2 officers on night patrol claimed to see horse merge pulling a plow and steered by ghost, in 1870's a farmer plowing, horse startled and dragged the farmer into the pond.
1920's and 30's mobsters dumped bodies into it.

6 N 347 County Farm Rd, Hanover Park, IL 60133 Written by Gary Bloze, owner. Illinois Pet Cemetery is the oldest pet cemetery. It's a family-run business, started in 1926 by the grandfather of Gary Bloze. He got the idea during the first world war, when he saw one in France. He got killed in a car accident in 1930, two weeks before the father of Gary Bloze was born, while he was out selling a headstone. The steering wheel went through his chest. At the time of his death, he had a pet ambulance service and a pet newspaper, the Pet Lover's Review. He also sold pet insurance. The grandmother of Gary Bloze ran the cemetery from 1930 to 1972, and she made it her life. Her name was Marie C. Bloze. She was a very personable person. She really loved to talk with people. Especially after a death, everybody needs to talk. The cemetery is about six and a half acres surrounded by the forest preserve, Hawk Hollow. Congress Plaza Hotel

520 South Michigan The Congress Plaza Hotel is located on South Michigan Avenue across from Grant Park in Chicago at 520 South Michigan Avenue. After opening for business in 1893, for the World's Columbian Exposition, the hotel underwent two major expansions and renovations; it now features 871 guest rooms and suites. Its 11 story edifice was originally designed by architect Clinton J. Warren as an annex to the Auditorium Theater across the street. The two buildings were linked by a marble-lined underground passage called Peacock Alley. In 1902 and then in 1907, the firm of Holabird & Roche oversaw the design and construction of two additions, bringing the total complex up to 1 million square feet. Loop Tour

Loop Tour Eastland Disaster Site Corner of North LaSalle and West Wacker Eastland Disaster (July 24, 1915). On July 24, employees of Western Electric Company were heading to an annual picnic. About 7,300 people arrived at 6 a.m. at the dock between LaSalle and Clark streets to be carried out to the site by five steamers. While bands played, much of the crowd—perhaps even more than the 2,500 people allowed—boarded the Eastland. Some reports indicate that the crowd may also have all gathered on one side of the boat to pose for a photographer, thus creating an imbalance on the boat. In any case, engineer Joseph Erikson opened one of the ballast tanks, which holds water within the boat and stabilizes the ship, and the Eastland began tipping precariously. Some claim that the crew of the boat jumped back to the dock when they realized what was happening.
